The STEAM-H Training and Research Centre was inaugurated through a collaborative initiative of Naganur Rudrakshi Math, Siddarameshwara Educational Institute, and Transdisciplinary Learning Solutions, with a vision to promote inclusive, sustainable, and socially impactful research.
Addressing the gathering, Prof. Desai highlighted the need for eco-friendly solutions to agricultural waste management to support farmers and sustainable agriculture. Zilla Panchayat CEO Rahula Shinde, the chief guest, appreciated the initiative for providing advanced research opportunities to talented students who lack access to premier institutions.
Presiding over the event, MLA Mahantesh Kaujalagi emphasized the role of scientific research in global development. Dr. Allama Prabhu Mahaswamy stated that the centre aims to support economically disadvantaged yet talented students by enabling research publications, patents, startups, and entrepreneurial innovation.
The centre announced continuous workshops and training programs for rural, under-resourced, and engineering students. On the occasion, VTU Registrar Dr. B. Rangaswamy and Infosys Senior Financial Manager K.H. Ravindra was felicitated.
